Hello, my name is Boyega Ajayi and I am the CEO and Founder of Bolton Advisory Group. My mission is to help business owners build transferable value and exit their business on their own terms. My family experience makes this goal personal. My father was a lawyer and small business owner who owned a manufacturing company but despite his education, he didn’t have the proper management systems or an exit plan which caused a lot of stress in his life resulting in a stroke that killed him. 

Based on my dad’s tragic experience, I am determined to help ethical and fair-minded business owners develop an exit strategy that meets their goals and keeps their vision alive.

Most small business owners are ill-prepared to exit their business and generally lack a post-exit vision that ensures their life continues to have a strong purpose and meaning. There are numerous reasons for why owners delay exit planning—the most common of which is time constraints—but one thing is clear: The most common regret that business owners express is not starting exit planning sooner. 

Exit planning and value building is convoluted and most business owners confuse exit planning & value building with simply trying to sell their business. Exit planning does not necessarily mean you are trying to sell your company. It simply means that as a business owner, you survey the landscape and always have a solid understanding of the options regarding your eventual exit from your company and planning for it by putting in the proper systems and building transferable value. 

My bold vision is to democratize exit planning and I will provide relevant, insightful, actionable and valuable insights that give every owner a deciding voice in their eventual exit on their own terms.
